Since most dogs and cats are able to reproduce by 6 months of age, it is recommended that they have surgery between 3 and 4 months of age, possibly as early as 2 months of age.

Vaccinations

Dogs and cats 4 months of age and older that do not have a current rabies vaccination are required by law to receive one. This and other vaccinations (distemper, parvo, feline leukemia, and kennel cough) are offered only at the time of service.
Supplemental Pain Medication
All animals receive pain medication at the time of surgery. This is a supplemental injection that will last an additional 24 hours.$2
